Petit Fours



  • 1 Frozen Pound Cake such as Pepperidge Farm
  • 6 cups Confectioner’s Sugar, sifted
  • 2 Tbsp Light Corn Syrup
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 Cup White Chocolate Chips
  • Hawaiian Volcano Guava Smoked or Alaea Sea Salt


Preparation Instructions

1.Trim brown crusts off of cake and cut into 1” cubes or into shapes with cookie cutters, such as hearts for Valentine’s Day

2.Set 1” apart on a rack over a cookie sheet lined with wax paper

3.Bring 1” water in a saucepan to a boil. Place a larger glass bowl over it.

4.Whisk everything together in the bowl except the cake and chocolate chips then stir with a rubber spatula until the mixture is smooth.

5.Add chocolate chips and stir until completely melted and incorporated.

6.Spoon icing over cake squares to completely cover on five sides

7.Allow to dry 5 minutes then sprinkle a few flakes of Guava Smoked Salt onto each
