Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Hawaiian Volcano Guava Smoked Sea Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1 1/2 lbs salmon (preferably wild Alaskan), skin and bones removed, cut into 4 portions
- 3 tablespoons grapeseed oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Season the Salmon: Generously season the salmon fillets with Hawaiian Volcano Guava Smoked Sea Salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Sear the Salmon: Heat grapeseed oil in a large sauté pan over high heat until shimmering. Place the salmon fillets seasoned-side down and sear for 2-3 minutes until a golden crust forms.
- Add Lemon Juice and Finish in the Oven: Add fresh lemon juice to the pan, turn the fillets over, and transfer the pan to the preheated oven. Roast for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is crispy on the outside and still moist and tender inside.
- Serve: Serve the salmon seasoned-side up, with any pan juices spooned over the top.
