Sweet Potato Mash

Bake Purple (or Orange) sweet potatoes for 1 hr 20 mins @ 350.  Cut into chunks and put into the food processor with apx 1 Tbsp butter per potato. Add 1t HVSS Kiawe salt.  This makes a beautiful side for any pork dish.  *The purple ones are quite common in Hawaii.

Cold Black Bean & Quinoa Salad

Toss boiled, diced new potatoes with canned, rinsed black beans, cooked quinoa, diced cucumber and cilantro.  Sprinkle on HVSS Spicy salt and dress with EVVO & lime juice.

Deconstructed Summer Salad

Use ingredients of your choice, such as chopped avocado, tomato, asparagus, grilled corn, sliced green onion, diced cooked bacon, cucumber or olives.  Lay out in sections on a platter. Drizzle EVVO, lemon juice and HVSS Guava smoked or HVSS Spicy salt.

Melon Wrapped Prosciutto

Ingredients 1 melon 10 to 15 slices prosciutto 2 tsp Hawaiian Volcano Guava Smoked Sea Salt Preparation Instructions Peel and slice melon into 1/2-inch semi-circle slices. Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each wedge and arrange on a platter. Use fresh herbs of berries as garnish.
